About us
It started with the same dream every fashion lover has: building a clothing brand.
Abdessamad, a young Moroccan from a small city called Tiflet, decided to chase that dream differently. Instead of spending months behind a screen on Alibaba, he flew to China.
What he found at first was disappointing: the same factories and the same agents he'd already seen on Alibaba, just with a different face. The high-quality factories with real prices existed, but finding them was a whole different battle: the misunderstandings, the closed doors, the price of not knowing how things actually work here.
That's where Directwear comes from. Not from an office, not from a business plan, but from the bottom of the exact problems every clothing brand suffers from. We refused to keep suffering, faced the challenge, and turned it into a company built so no brand has to fight this battle alone.
Based in Shenzhen, in the heart of Guangdong province, the biggest clothing manufacturing hub in the world, we've built what money can't buy: a trusted network of the highest-quality factories, and real relationships with the people who run them. Quality over quantity: every factory we work with has earned its place.
We work alongside individual designers and established design companies whose portfolios include names like Zara, SHEIN and Emporio Armani, along with IP collaborations with Disney and Marvel. And we're not just here for the big names. We're here to show starting brands a new world, and to make production the easiest part of building their dream.
Your brand deserves what the best brands get.
The Directwear way
Six principles we don't bend, order after order.
01
The best quality-price ratio isn't a promise. It's an obsession.
One day, Abdessamad was visiting a high-quality factory when the owner got a call from another factory owner he'd known for years: "Don't try to overcharge him. He knows what he's doing, and he cares about the quality-to-price ratio more than anyone." That call wasn't luck. It's years of learning exactly how to negotiate here, and building the kind of name that gets protected. Today, our factories give us prices and quality most brands never get to see.
02
Nothing passes without checking.
From the first sample to the final product, everything is checked piece by piece, on the ground, with our own eyes. Not through photos. Not through promises.
03
We treat your brand as if it's ours.
Your deadlines are our deadlines. Your quality standard is our reputation. When your product wins, that's our name on the line too.
04
We choose who we work with.
Factories, partners and brands: we only work with people who carry real values and real goals.
05
We never say yes and come back with a no.
If we say we can produce it, we produce it. If we can't, you'll know from day one. No surprises three weeks in.
06
Trust is our first responsibility.
Trust is what carried us through every step of this journey in China. It's how every factory door opened, and it's exactly what we deliver to you: the same trust that built this company, working for your brand.
Common questions
Because I've been there myself. Every factory I work with, I've visited in person before I ever put a client's order in their hands. I've walked their production floor, seen their machines, checked what they're actually making.
And once we start, everything is documented. Photos and videos from the floor, updates at every stage. You see where your product is being made and what's happening to it, the whole way through.
If the factory made a mistake, you never see it. I check every sample on the ground before anything ships, and if it doesn't match your tech pack, it goes back and gets redone. That's the whole point of me being here.
If everything came out technically correct, matching your tech pack and what we discussed, but you receive it and want to change something you hadn't mentioned before, that's fine too. We redo the sample. Changing your mind after seeing a piece in your hands is normal, and it's better to get it right at this stage than after bulk production has started.
Both. Small or big doesn't matter to me, because both are facing the same production problems.
What I care about is who you are. I work with people who are building something real and chasing quality, not copying what someone else already made. If that's you, the size of your brand is irrelevant.
Produce with people, not with a screen.
